Cut it Out!

I reported back in early February that cut out details were a major trend for SS2021.

As a big fan of this trend, I’m happy to report that the trend remains strong going into Autumn!

Fashion is eager to go ‘out out’ once again, and if trends like sequins & layers of jewellery are a little OTT for your style personality (both key trends for the new season), this is a more demure way to dress with a little more sass post pandemic!

Exactly how much fabric you're comfortable losing is up to you, but for me a suble cut away over one shoulder, or triangular cut outs at the side of the bust in dresses are the chicest interpretation of this trend.
Going into the cooler months, we're also going to see this trend in knits, so plenty of ways to dip your toes into this trend!

Suits you!

For me tailoring and Autumn/Winter go hand in hand.

This year trouser suits continue to take prime position, in relaxed slouchy, loose-fitting silhouettes.

The predominant colours are neutrals and softer shades – go for whatever works for your defined colour palette for maximum outfit options.

In early autumn pair them with T-shirts, and as temperatures drop, replace with a roll neck for the most up-to-date way to wear this trend.

And of course, they can be used as separates - which is why softer or neutral shades are so versatile.

Will you add a suit to your Autumn Winter wardrobe?

What's the perfect piece for transitional dressing?

The long sleeved midi dress!

An absolute hero piece in any wardrobe, a long sleeve midi dress is the perfect transitional piece when the temperature is warm one minute and cool the next.

Hugely versatile, they can be dressed up with heels, or down with flats to take you from day to night with ease.
